一个基于Tomcat的程序里面用到了JFreeChart，偶尔用浏览器访问时，PC端安装的XManager的XServer会自动的打开，然后Tomcat就莫名其妙的挂掉。在没有安装XManager的PC上通常就不会出这种情况。查看一下log，如下：

Can’t connect to X11 window server using ‘:0.0′ as the value of the DISPLAY variable.

搜之，此乃awt的bug。加入以下参数启动即可：

-Djava.awt.handless=true

如果是Tomcat，把上面的参数加到环境变量：CATALINA_OTPS里即可。

貌似很强大，且据说是一个可以破墙而出的实现方式，使用reCAPTCHA(一石二鸟)技术，没有看太懂<反功夫网/>内的文字以何种方式表现(rendering)，文字还是图片？如果是文字，那它的流还是经过‘墙’当然会被过滤，如果是图片，那就得有服务器支持才可以，那这样和浏览器有何关系？

FU, 就算没事，我也要上来看看。

On July 1st, the evaluation release of Vista SP1 RC has expired, it’s said that Microsoft has warned those installed SP1 RC make sure uninstall it before the deadline. but i didn’t see that notice. so, from July 1st, my laptop kept rebooting every few hours, even hanged with a bluescreen of death. this really drove me crazy, until i realized that.

To check if you’ve installed evaluation copy, try to run ‘winver’ and a dialog will pop up, if you could see the following statement:

Evaluation copy. Expires 7/1/2008 7:59 AM

that’s it! you need to uninstall this copy. please run ‘appwiz.cpl’ and click ‘View installed updates’, then uninstall

this will take you dozens of minutes. be patient. after that, you’ll restore your Vista.
